I think they have something to do with the NASA "let's cover everything up" Compton never did hit the ground. Reason for the faked takeout was that Compton Gamma Ray investigative abilities were messing up the black ops using gamma Van der Waal's Haarp and Hurricane efforts. Another issue was the German exodus to Antarctica. The last man in the crew sent to find the German U-boats and the rest of the German aristocracy with their gold and their spoils, made the claim that aliens were in caves and tunnels and they were "eating" the rest of this guys crew. He and one other got out. The last piece of lost web based knowledge concerns the use of em by the Aum Shimreyko (sp) in the Austrailian desert. Not the Jakusa mafia but the religious group that dropped Ricin ? into the Tokyo subway a few years ago. Bearden refers to this group internet site now disappeared called "Archepelago".ericswanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02072533069898695243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5000273.post-1124137982931664102005-08-15T16:33:00.000-04:002005-08-15T16:33:00.000-04:00Carol,You're right and I was 'squishing' history i...Carol,
You're right and I was 'squishing' history into a 'sound-bite' something that I probably shouldn't have done seeing as they are my favorite band from The Greatful Society (where Grace Slick first started) into the JA, then came Jefferson Starship & Hot Tuna, then just Starship, and back to Jefferson Starship. I did get to go to the VanDyck in schenectady last year and got Paul Kanter, Marty Balin, Chris Aguilar, and I believe Chris Smith's autographs on the back of my 30x30 inch Cydonia Face on Mars poster after that actoustic performance. Last month I got Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Cassidy's autographs on the back also after they played at the Higher Ground in Burlington VT across the lake from me. During that show they did 'dedicate' sorta a with 'Ceath has no Mercy' to Papa John Chreech when a fan in audience shouted his name. There are a few fan boards around,

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/JEFFERSONSTARSHIP_Explored/messages

is one I subscribe to which gives out good information and of course there is the A-Deck here:

http://www.jeffersonstarshipsf.com/

I missed the 40th anniversary show also and wish I could have afforded to have gone down to Schenectady again and be at that show. From what I am hearing it was an awesome time.

Thanx for the response and the read from a fellow fan of JA/JS/HT.

Best of luck in everything life brings your way.

Bob...:Droberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04200824860134560491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5000273.post-1124081763051889772005-08-15T00:56:00.000-04:002005-08-15T00:56:00.000-04:00I'd say it would be more accurate to say that Jeff...I'd say it would be more accurate to say that Jefferson Airplane morphed into Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna.

Just plain "Starship" featuring Mickey Thomas with his piercing falsetto doing commercially successful area-rock came out of the early Jefferson Starship, and later had none of the original musicians in it (and to my mind, was just plain unlistenable).

Kantner and Balin still travel around as Jefferson Starship, sometimes electric and sometimes acoustic. Your mention of the anniversary sent me looking to see if they are touring anywhere near here.
Bloody hell, we just missed what sounded like a wonderful concert on the 12th in Schenectady. :(Carol Maltbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10693212305194138330noreply@blogger.com
